Lot 90

A multi-level house located in Palm Lakes Estate. This house was by far one of the most challenging projects I have ever built. While not the largest house we've built. it had 5 different floor elevations and a long span clerestory beam supporting 2 flat roofs. Also built in some very difficult soil conditions, that would require piling with a conventional build. Not to mention this build was split up by lock down.

This project was a real good first run at a full on high end residential build. It really brought into light some of the deficiencies in the industry for this type of building method. These included ways to install and waterproof window and door openings using locally available components. Working with the municipality on educating their inspectors on correct building practices.
